I picked up a black sun coral the other day and was wondering if it's even worth the time and effort to have it open up when the lights are on. What is the longest you have had your tubastrea stay open when the lights are on?
I had one that would open right around 5:00pm ever day and stay open til the next morning. I always fed the tank at 5:00 and yeah would stay open and look great all evening.
Whatever time I put Cyclopeze in the tank it opens within 10 minutes (I feed PE Mysis as a main), no matter what the time, will usually stay open for 4 hours hours or so but if done in evening will stay open until lights come on next day.
