Whats the possibility of a blasto spawning/reproducing in my tank?

I was resituating some corals in my tank the other week and stumbled across a new growth on the rocks. I never really noticed the small growth before as it was behind a rock of zoanthids that I had just sitting on a ledge. When I moved the zoanthids all I could see was a small flat patch of purple tissue. I went back to look a few hours later and realized it must be some sort of Lps as I could now see a polyp or 2 has opened up. I think it looks more like a blasto than anything else I have in the tank.

Is it possible that my blastos have spawned in the tank? I have about 20 kinds of blastos currently in this tank, but I didnt have any blastos or any other coral in this particular spot where it could have been tissue reaching off from another coral and attaching to this rock.

Hmmm. . . . . could be right. In that second picture they definetely look similar to real tiny Blastos. Interesting though

They are thought to be broadcast spawner's fertilizing externally, it would be pretty cool if you manage to find any more bub's.

I suspect the little fella may have been a tiny frag from a damaged colony that fell away and managed to stay in the one spot long enough to encrust. Nice one
