Whats this on my Zoa frag?

Just got this tiny frag yesterday, and I noticed these white dots when it opened fully... they look like sand grains to me, but I couldnt blow them off, they seem stuck to the stem... any ideas?

If they don't move around they're probably sand grains.
Try remove with tweezers.

I'll keep an eye on them to make sure they arent moving around.. Would it hurt anything to just leave them there?

Nope, just leave them alone and watch for movements and numbers.
They look happy to me!
