thers certain days where my zoas just wont open,, they will be open for weeks and then just close for about a week,,, and then just reopen out of the blue,,, whats up ???

Hard to tell for sure. Is your tank stable? Anything with the tank..new lights...new pump with more/less flow? I had a rather frag that closed up on me a week after I bought them and they stayed closed for almost 3 weeks...really looked like they melted to tell the truth. Then out of the blue just when I had given up on them they all opened back up within a couple of days and have been going strong ever since. Weird creatures for sure.

2. Do you have a picture of them when retracted?
3. Does the retraction coincide with any other internal or external activity related to your tank?
