Whats wrong with my ricordea? Is it dying?!

Below are the pics. It is kinda hard to tell what we're looking at:

Yeah, those are very difficult pictures to work with...

Try to get closer (and less blurry) pictures for us if you can, Trini.

If i went any closer it would of been alot more blurier.Time for a new camera.Anyways my ricordea dissapeared.I saw when the polyp was gone one day.Day after i moved the lr rubble it was on (the remaining stuff from it all but the polyp).Another day after that i see the piece of lr rubble it was on with no sign of ricordea on it and it was way on the other side of the tank.Weird,i think what happened was that the rest died off then a hermit crab or my star moved the lr rubble and in the process the remnant of the ricordea came loose.Hey if I see a ricordea growing somewhere in my tank i knew where it came from.

chances are you gave it too much light too quickly, ricordias like to be acclimated to captive lighting in the shade for a while, or they shrivel up and melt off kind of like that one...

Not to get off track, but sometimes you can take your digital photos through a magnifying glass so you don't have to zoom in so much making for a much clearer picture. Just a thought. blnt
