When do you mount your frags to main rocks?

Got several new SPS frags on my frag rack in my tank, and started here to acclimate them to the tank (particularly the lighting). The rack about 2 inches above my sand bed and I planned on leaving them on the rack for two weeks. Then I'd mount them on the rock in the appropriate location.

Just wanted to get some other input with how others acclimate then mount frags to the main display rock.

Also does anyone mount their frag sideways? Heard this a good way to get a colony going.

I mounted with the plug but I hear lots just cut it off plug and glue it.

haha yes he is kidding. i would say move it whenever you want and it seems to be acclimated.

i personally dont have a frag rack and just put them on the rocks right away, theyll adjust pretty well.
