When using Red Slime Remover...

correct

Then when you turn it back on monitor closely. It will overflow in 30 secs. I usually pull 5 gallons out of my skimmer over an hour.

I suggest you don't use the red slime remover. Al that is doing is masking the problem. Find out what is causing it and correct the root of the problem. All that red slime stuff is going to do is cause you more problems in the future. It can also kill any good bacteria you have in the tank causing livestock to die.

I have to concur completely.

Well, I already did 1 of 2 treatments. I didn't use RO / DI water from the beginning. I have been for a few weeks now. The green algae has slowed dramatically, but the red is taking it's place!!

I've heard lots of good things about this stuff.

Can we switch to other advice since I've already done it? ;)

I did find another solution for all this algae that I'm getting. It started with SLEDGE !!!

Always appreciate your input.
