Where can I buy a 240g locally?

I have been looking for a tank and I have decided on a 240. Does anyone sell them or make them locally. I am in Boca but am willing to drive a reasonable distance. I am open to both acrylic and glass but it must be pre-drilled/ reef ready. Also how much should I expect to pay for the tank. I appreciate any input.

I have a 540g being built by Karen at exotic you can call her the store 305-266-0978 and her cell 786-393-4719 tell her joe with the 560g sent you.

oceans below in lake park builds tanks. not sure on the prices, but rob uses starfire and regular glass depending on what you want. his numbe ris 561-842-2221. hope this helps

when you start adding custom items, overflows, closed loops ect...it gets there fast. My 560g 120x36x30 with 3 side starfire was only a little over 2k

Check with Beverly's Pets. They have 2 stores - Coral Springs and Pembroke Pines. The one in Pembroke keeps literally hundreds of tanks in stock, up to and including 240 RR if memory serves. Prices are good too.

I looked into glass cages because they have shows in FL and will bring the tank to the show free of charge. After checking them out here on RC the quality of their tanks may not be what I am looking for. I will call beverly's pets and see what they ahave and their prices but the 265 from big Al's looks good. One concern with that tank is that it is a 7' tank not an 8' tank so lighting would be a little odd.

Beverly's has a 220g that is 6' long but nothing larger. price was great but anyone have any experience with one fo these tanks. No I have a hard decision between the 265 and the 220 any thoughts or preferences anyone? Thank you everyone for your help up to this point.

seriously a custom tank is close in price. if you want 8' go 8x2x2.5
asking for a price is free. And you have to add into the one from als the overflows drilling holes ect...

Al typically sells there tanks that size with overflows, piping, basic hood, etc....not sure if thats what you mean. I like there prices on equipment.....hard to beat...custom tank is way to go if you cant find lights for that length though.....

yeah big Al's price includes overflows I am going to check there store out in person so I can see the tank. I am now going to look into custom sizes. Thanks again everyone for your input.

well they will have it and iff they dont have it they will order it....they did so for mine took 1 week or so.....but tank came new....even had new car smell.....

I just bought a 75 RR from big Al's.....159.00 +tax. everywhere else I checked they wanted 229.00 and up.....so I think they prices are good on tanks....everything else is sky high

This afternoon I actually got an all-glass 210g rr tank with the overflows on the back rather than in the corners like perfecto and for $150 less than a perfecto 220g tank at Big Al's. Once again thanks everyone... now on to equipment questions but I will start a new thread for that.

Don't know what you're looking for exactly, but check out the 180 gallon extra high (used to be right in the center aisle of the store, on the right hand side) Awesome size tank, only 4' wide, nice and tall, and very deep! I'm jones'n for that one!

As for Beverly's, I don't like their stock much, bad mortality rate in my tanks, but their prices on tanks are good... I bought my 75g from them way back when, and my 29g more recently. No problems to speak of.
