where can I buy gate valves?

Does anyone know where I can buy a gate valve locally in the north dade area? I am looking at doing the gate valve mod to my G3 and don't want to have to wait for shipping

Big Al's carries them but I am sure they might be a little more expensive buying from there.

Check your local pool stores, I've seen them in there. Again probably not the cheapest, but you can get them locally if you're in a rush. If you have the time, order them online.

I ordered them from Ace hardware. I got a 1 1/4" for 12 dollars. they will be here by tuesday morning. If I would have ordered them by yesterday by 12 I would have them tomorrow morning. Oh well. I will be on my way to modding the G? skimmer.

You might get lucky @ a Lowes as I've seen them locally there but not too many of them. I've NEVER seen them at any Home Depot.

Maybe someone can help me out here but what's that plumbing place next to Exotic Aquatic on oakland? I'm almost positive they would have them.
