looks like I'll be going with acrylic glass will cost me $208, w/ bracing it would run $280 for 3/8glass. Acrylic should only run me $150,

There is just something about making your own. I didn't make the tank but I do enjoy the DIY part, as long as electricity is not involved, then I call Grandpa.
