Where do I get glass??

I have taken my measurements for my sump and the hardware store I thought I was going to get the glass for the baffles from does`nt carry 1/4 inch glass. I do believe 1/4 inch is what I was told I need, if anybody has a different opinion then please let me know. I`m using a CPR over and Mag 5 return so I only have a flow rate of 300gph. It needs to be a little slow because i`m going to use Cheato for Nitrate removal. Could anyone tell me a good place to purchase my glass baffles from, i`m near Monroeville.

1/4" is perfect for sump baffles. I buy my glass from a local dealer known as Fox Glass. If you want to order from them I can bring it out this weekend (Can meet at Elmer's or wherever). I had 5 baffles cut by them with seamed edges (so you don't cut yourself), and cost me under $20. Their number is 724-542-7970 located in Mt. Pleasant.

Also, make sure you take off roughly 1/8" from the sides for the silicone to squeeze between.

My local ace hardware doesn't carry 1/4 inch glass. I think they have 1/8 inch glass. I built my dumps 4 years ago with this glass and they are still fine.

OK cool, thanks guys. Actually sirus you answered a question I forgot to ask when it comes to leaving space between the glass so the silicon can get in. I will most likely just give them a call. Thanks again!

i got glass cut from lowes for a baffle and its 1/8 inch and i have had no problems
