First of all I know its impossible to tell. Second I bought it for the colour not the location.
Store first told me it's an acan from south china sea. I decided to pass, came back the 2nd day, other owner tells me it's from Australia, I ask again and he says thats what it said on the box.
To me this looks japanese. I've only seen about 50 japanese acan / micro colonies in real life, but i've seen 1000s of aussie's and don't recall this morph.
it still could be one of the small acan ones, but I currently have it in my frag tank and the polyps are the same size as my for sure japanese micros. If it is aussie then imo its more likely a small acan.
so any guesses? Sorry its a bit out of focus. If i take another pic I will update image.
