Ive looked in Giant eagle/tops around here, and couldnt really fiind any.

Does it matter specifically what kind?

Most people seems to find Mrs. Wages
It says this on a website about it "Pickling lime is food grade calcium hydroxide with no additives or preservatives."

Then on the marinedep*t website under "Two Little Fishies" Kalk it says ""Kalkwasser" is the German term for limewater, a saturated solution of calcium hydroxide in water."

The difference in 1 lb packs is about $9 when you buy the pickling lime for $2-3 and the Kalk for $10-$12.

I've been all over Akron, Canton, and Youngstown looking for it. If you find some let me know. I considered seeing if some people here wanted to purchase a case and split the cost. If any one here has some they are looking to get rid or find a source let me know please.
