Where is my BTA?

I purchased a GBTA last night, and introduced it to my tank. When I went to bed it was opening up. Now this morning it is no where to be found. Is it possible for it to climb an acrylic wall and get over into the overflow?

mine climbed and got caught in my overflow on my glass tank, i would think its the same as acrylic but i saved it in time.

he probably is just "hiding" in the rock and aclimating himself in the tank. thats what my gbta did and my condy's,
