Where to find? / How to make?

I may be getting a basically new tank that has been drilled but has no form of casing to actually create the overflow. Can they be found somewhere? Or would I have better luck just making one? Also, would I just use some type of silicon to secure it into place? Btw, it's a 90g. I'd appreciate any information you all can provide.

Thanks :D

ps- search is down.

You can buy ready made overflow/skimmer boxes or you can make them out of Acrylic, pvc or glass.

From past threads I have read that is a big "NO" you can not use plain old silicone as it will not hold over time.

If I find the thread I'll post it here for you to read unless someone beats me to it.

A good alternative is to buy a smaller fish tank and mod it.
But I can't do that either. My tank stand has no space.

Thanks Playa1 and inachu. Playa- do you know where I can buy them?

btw- i just want to clarify that this will be an internal overflow, not a hang-on the back one.;)

Well, I searched for a little on google and found www.reefmania.net to have them internal overflow boxes for cheapest, and they seem to be well built.

Another website was selling a silicone called "CRL Silicone" recommended to secure it in place. I'll research a little more into silicone or other materials to secure it in.

Feedback from reefcentral people is still appreciated!
