Where to locate sump

Putting up a 450 gallon. I have to make a decision on where to put the sump
I have an existing 165 with the sump in it's own room and could put the sump for the 450 in the same room. The only problem with using the existing fish room is that it is 16' from the tank and I would have to drill through the main support of the house to run the lines and figuring how much flow loss do I get from running that far.

Tank will have 2-2" drains and 2 returns (one for each end) with about 16' of pipe with a 6' rise to each end. Return pump is a Reeflo Hybrid (baracuda/Hammerhead)

Am I better off to have sump under tank or in the fish room?

Though I don't know the exact details, I hate drilling through support beams, you can never really get that strength back.

That's what my thought was. Just wanted some other thoughts. It would be nicer to have everything contained in one room....but I don't like drilling through support beams either.
