I can't decide which anemone to get, torn between purple Sebae (Heteractis Malu) or purple LTA (Macrodactyla Doreensis).

Please help me decide.

Bta's are the "easiest" of the host anemones to keep. Then comes Lta's and the others.

What kind of lighting do you have?

Lta's also like to bury their base inbetween the sand and a rock.

Will this be your first anemone? If so, I would go for either E. Quadricolor (bta) or M. Doreensis.

Either way, it seems you've been doing your research (I assume you've been reading up on them, since you posted scientific names, correctly spelled no less). I applaud you for that, and wish you absolutely the best of luck whichever of the beautiful creatures you decide to adopt

Are you putting it in that 28 gallon cube? If so IMO you should get a small LTA that way you have the time to set up a bigger tank. Those anemones will eventually get too big for a 28 gal if you want corals to live with it. If its really healthy it could kill all your corals while taking over the tank. Both anemones get up to 18inches. I would go with a small purple lta, because the (Heteractis malu) is known to be difficult to care for.
