I'm looking into buying the apex unit but don't know which model I would need to do the things I'm doing now with a different controller,

I want to controll lights, heater, salinity,ph,temp with email alarms.
I also have moon lights now that is on a luner cycle.

Can anyone help me with what all I would need to buy and how much It would take to purchase all of this please?

Thanks for helping

I have t5 lights (nep 2 switches)
I have tunze pumps but 6045
I have moon lights that I love so would want new ones to go along with this
I do have 2 of the brs dosed pumps that's not setup yet so I might add those to

hope this helps

Ok, so I see nothing that would indicate that the full Apex would be necessary for you from the start.

There are 2 differences between the Apex and Apex Lite:

1) Apex Lite has a pH port. The Apex has a dedicated pH port and a modal (selectable) pH or ORP port. Both have temp probes, of course. Since you didn't mention either a desire to measure ORP, or that you have a CaRx, this difference shouldn't be an issue. So you could go with the Lite.

2) Apex has 4 variable speed ports, usable with compatible dimmable lighting and also with controllable Tunze pumps (the Apex eliminates the need for a Tunze pump controller). Nothing you listed would make use of these ports. So once again, the Lite possibly makes more sense in your case.

If you go with the Lite, and in the future decide to add probes, variable speed pumps or dimmable lighting, you can always expand the Lite to get those capabilities. The price difference between the two models is about $130. All that being said, I'd probably just go with the full Apex anyway :D

Lol! Ok full unit

but I have the rkl now and I use the mlc and pods for that. Apex have anything like that?

Thanks
