Which chiller?

For a 30g tank, need to drop the temp about 4 degrees.

IceProbe or Aquamedic TC150?

The TC150, is that an inline chiller?
The IceProbe seems very cool, but I'm worried about it's cooling capabilities.

Hi,

I think i would recommend the TC150, the IceProbe might do it, but usually 10-20 gallon tanks is what those are designed for. The TC150 is an inline chiller, feed it with a small pump, around 100-200gph, little powerhead works fine.

If you are interested, i have a used one i pulled off my office tank, used about 3 months. I ran a Quiet One on a 58 gallon tank, my temp was 80degree, the TC150 after about 4 days got it down to 76 and kept it there, but i changed to a PanWorld pump and i don't need a chiller now, need a heater actually. The quiet one was the heat monster. So if you are interested in it, email me sales@premiumaquatics.com it would be an official Premium Aquatics order, so you would still get a limited warranty on it.

thanks
