Hi all. I need some guidance concerning SPS food. which one should I buy? how often , what is the best time to feed etc.

Thank you

None and never... :p
In general they get all the food they need from the algae living inside them/light (photosynthetic).. IMO by keeping nitrate/phosphate levels at a decent LOW level you are giving them all the food they need..

Many don't feed a darn thing.. Many swear by whatever.. And there are enough users here that there will always be at least one swearing by every common brand

Or just pick one.. and see how it works for you..

I am aware of the controversy. At least in the beginning I would like to supplement. So from that do feed, what is a brand that many use? how often and at what time?

how old is your tank. most tanks have a nutrient problem, not a shortage, which is why i would wait before you feed your corals. now if your tank is over 18 months old and never had a nutrient problem , then i would use reef roids once a week, not sure if its the best just like the name

I'm with this too I barely feed my corals but the times I do I use phytoplankton the micro green stuff or reef roids...to each his own on this

I would supplement live phyto if you are going to do anything. In general though fish poop and light is all you need.
