Which Dremel Model ?

My old,...Dremel rotary tool took a dump, so
I'm looking for a good condition used one for many small jobs around the including fraging on ebay, for under $75.

Since I'm looking for used one, which is the best model and why ?

Does not have to be a Dremel !

I do not want a battery operated.

Want variable speed.

A toolless collet lock would be great, don't know which model hase it ?

Which model would you choose ?

Felxshaft's are nice but not a must, unless you recommend them, but cost is an issue.

Other than rarely using the small sanding drums, i don't really ever use my dremel tool. Much more often i use an oscillating tool. What in particular would the dremel be used for?

I use the drums quite a bit and cut-off wheels.

First thing I need to do is, a lot of people put frag's on plugs that are way too big, so I'll need to cut s lot of the plug away, and file/sand down the stems to fit onto rock holes rather than always glue them on.

I just picked this one up from amazon. New and only $5 more than you're looking to spend. I use mine for the same things, and its perfect. Might pick up the flex shaft attachment in the future, but for now I'm satisfied.

I'm looking at the same model that's used for $20 less, as well as other's. Just have to make up my mind ! :hmm6:

I don't know if you'd be interested, but this vise is nice for the money.
I already have one that's similar and really like it. Would also work great for clamping corals for fraging.

But if it's only for limited use my Harbor Freight 20$ special was decent.

I use a cheap Black and Decker. I think I paid $25 for it new from the outlet store. I'ts almost Identical to the same size Dremel and fit's all the Dremel attachments, flex shafts, etc.
