Which of these fixtures will likely give me better SPS color/growth

Planning a 48x48x28 cube. Have been reviewing the forums searching for the ideal lighting solution (have been out of the hobby for a while) and am starting to get frustrated. Was first considering GHL Mitras, but IMO there still seems to be much debate regarding efficacy of LEDS (I'm not knocking them, looks like an awesome unit, just want to go "tried and true"). Any input or experience with either fixture (or another you'd recommend) would be greatly appreciated. Will be placing most rock work in rear 30 inches of tank to allow for cleaner/open look thus hoping to get away with one unit.

coralvue because it's 400w vs 250w but you could always change the ballast on the gies to 400w too if I'm not mistaken.

The reflectors in the Coralvue fixture are amazing. They have some serious spread and par. I don't think the giesmann fixture will put down numbers like that. That's why I picked it

Giesmann is a sweet system. You do have to run 220v or get the US converter unless they come US ready now. They are sleek and elegant compared to the Coralvue with is very large.

As for Lighting the full system I would go Giesmann. 20k radium DE Bulbs with ATI t-5. You'll be golden. Just my 2 cents.

Fairly certain Radium do not produce a DE 250W bulb. 150W DE, 250W and 400W SE is the Radium 20000K range. With your size tank i would go with the 2 x 400W Coralvue for better surface coverage at a higher hanging height.

Thanks for all of the feedback. At a depth of 28 inches, is a 250DE sufficient? The sleek design of the Geisemann is appealing, however, the 220v issue may be a deal-braker. Does this require running a 220 line, or a converter at the level of the outlet?
Has anyone seen either of these in person? Any common problems with either of these that anyone is aware of?

Well i cant say which will give better growth/color under the exact same conditions because i believe husbandry determines that mostly, but if aesthetic is worth anything to you , I say go giesemann. i say this from 1st hand experience. That fixture if finished like a well built exotic automobile! I know this because i had one!
