Is this protein skimmer good for a JEWEL Rio 240 fishtank?

it is only £50 UK sterling

Is the 240 the size of the tank?

I wouldn't get it. It looks like it's made very cheap. Not near big enough for a 240 tank anyways. If you want bang for buck get a EuroReef RS 250. I have one and love it!

Yes the water in the tank is 240 litres.

In the US we use gallons, that converts to roughly 63 gallons.

If your tank isn't in gallons like I thought then you wouldn't need the first skimmer I suggested. You would do very well with a Euro-Reef RS100 on your tank.

For a 63 gal. tank, I wouldn't buy either one. You'll just end up replacing it with a better one very soon, which will cost you more than doing it right the first time.
