i use to have the css 65g model on my aquapod i hated the thing constantly had to adjust it. ill admit it did pull some nasty skim but it was loud and a micro bubble producing machine. plus i have heard of them overflowing. i never had it do it to me but the guy i sold it to it did it to him. i would go with a cpr bakpak with a mj1200 with needle wheel mod. i know a couple people that have them and they pull out some dark brown nasty stinky dry skim. i did the mod to my friends cpr and man its was crazy the way it started pulling about a full cup of dark brown skim a day and it still does. before the mod he had a mj900 on it with stock impeller and it took like 5 days to pull a full cup of only tea colored skim. then i gave him a mj1200 with the needle wheel mod. he also doesnt even have a bubble trap and there is no micro bubbles in his tank.
i also agree with cpr bakpak with a mj1200 with needle wheel mod or the fish line mod. i ran a cpr bakpak(in-sump) with a MJ1200 on my 29gal, great skimmer for the size and price.
the tank was also in my Bedroom i didn't hear from it.
