which skimmer??

choosing between these because they are preowned and within my budget.

....just did a search on the ae tech....Im ditching a g4 with the recirc mods etc....i even changed the needle wheel to a "mesh" type...it just not do the job for its advertised ability. im currently running about 375gls in my system. Im going to the etss downdraft...know several stores with the really big models and they rock....also have seen the 1400/1500 in action. Ive had a number of in sump models over the years...including er...which I really like...if you are restricted to in sump....having said that...external in my opinion is superior in every way...if you have the room and the noise of the external pump is not an issue. Ease of maint....less of it actually because the pump is not in the water....good luck....any other questions drop me note....be glad to share my experience with you. One thing is for sure...spend the money on the front end and buy all the skimmer you can afford....you will be glad down the road.
