Do the new dslr cameras come with there own photo editing software or do most people buy additional software?

I was specifically looking at the Canon EOS Rebel T2i.

Thanks!

I've a very strong advocate of Adobe Lightroom and that's what I teach. It takes all of the pain out of shooting RAW.

shoot with a dslr canon in raw format. for editing am using a mac. start everything in apples software aperture and then finalize editing in photoshop. never used lightroom but have always heard good things. canon has a great line up of a variety of lenses. if you get decent lenses, you can carry them for a lifetime while replacing the body when needed. my first dslr was a rebel. great camera :)

Another vote for lightroom here. My only wish for lightroom is that it also manage video files as well. With all of the new dlsr's coming out with video capability it would be nice I it also manage video files. No need to edit the videos but at least manage and perhaps view them. I do most of my editing nowadays in lightroom although the new content aware feature in Photoshop really has my attention.

Another one for Lightroom. Its a great easy to use program. I also use Photoshop CS3 for other editing things as well. And lastly Photomatix Pro for HDR images. But Lightroom is a great program to start off with and you'll never need or want anything else.

I use Aperture 3, but I've tried Lightroom 3 beta and liked it as well. You can't go wrong with either Aperture or Lightroom.
