Which tank should I buy

I am looking to get a new tank. I have it down to a 60gal Cube 24x24x24 or a 65gal 36x18x21ish. Is there any pros or cons to each tank. I am going to use the animal bean over flow on ether one and was going to get three tunze power heads. I was also looking to do a foam/rock back wall. Any advice will be greatly appreciate.

I would go with the cube to get the extra 6" of width. It really depends on how you like to scape your aquariums though.

Like said above, this really depends on how you prefer to scape you tank. I have a cube now, my first, and it pretty cool. The tank is viewable from all three sides (not just on occasion) so you must really consider rock work and coral placement. However, the 65 has very nice dimensions! May I ask who makes it? Lighting will be more expensive with 36" vs. 24." Flow is also a big consideration. Depending on your rocks, it will be harder to get good flow in cube without putting stuff on the sides of the tank.

Will this tank be viewed from all sides frequently?

More details my friend, please.

Yes viewed from three sides. The back wall will be a foam/rock wall. For flow I was going to use 3 tunze power head. What type of rock should I use?

For the back wall, I have no clue. For the tank, it would depend on your style. For the latest build I decided to use BRS reefsaver and a couple choice pieces at the lfs to seed it.

Consider finding a way to mount the tunze powerheads in rocks as well.

You might find a cube to be more fun/challenging if you are serious about using the shape to its fullest potential. A rock wall on a long tank looks weird to me, but that's simply my opinion and I have never seen it done on a 36" tank so take it with a grain of salt. Depends on the fish as well.

Just go slow and with an inspiration. It will be great!

ive got a 65g and I really like the size of it but the difference in lighting costs could be a deciding factor. Im actually in the planning stages of getting the 24x24x24 rimless cube. I really just like the clean looking factor of the cube and I will be doing a simple aquascape with minimal live rock instead of piling it up like a wall. I plan to light it with one Ecotech radion. The bad part of the cube will be the size and space that you wont have in the stand for your sump and extra equipment.

It you mount the Tunze in your rock wall just make sure you can get them in an out to clean etc. I had a rock wall and ran my Tunze hidden in them, it looked great.....no worse etc, then one needed cleaned and serviced and had to remove 1/2 the wall so I ended up taking the whole thing down.

The answer to more space is overbuilding the stand! I've got a the footprint for a 10 gallon and a 20H tank as well as a bit of room for some extra equipment. Not the finest, best planned, thing I have done, but it helped immensely.

I angled them towards the front glass and they hit that pane a d shot in all directions. I angled them slightly upwards to create a "rolling" effect to get the water up to my coast to coast overflow.
