which tests for hammer coral?

what parameters need to be checked before and while keeping hammer corals? parameters other than CA, alakalinity, ph, phosphates, and nitrates/nitrites.

Those should be just fine, so long as your lighting is enough to support them, and your tank is pretty stable, with nothing that eats corals.

I've kept a beautiful hammer, but for whatever reason, it just shrinked and shrinked and disappeared on me, for no reason. All params were in check, and it still disappeared. I've got a torch coral now that is doing fine in the same tank, just months later.
