Which would you buy?

I am looking for a new skimmer and I have 2 choices ~ which would you buy?
A. Brand new ASM G3 for 250 plus ship
B. Used (1 year) EuroReef CS 3 for 250 plus ship. Sight unseen - no pics available however, assures me works fine.

well, both are copies of the european skimmers (Deltec, H&S) so I would go with one of those even though they are more expensive. I have read many poor reports of Euroreef's customer service, so I would stay away from them. ASM, while not as well made, seems to have a good reputation.

So, I guess between the two, the ASM gets my vote.

I have both skimmers and they both work great!

ASM is replica of the ER and it usually costs a bit less.....The only thing that is vastly different on my 2 are how you remove the cup, on the ER, I just practially pop it off, the ASM has a collar that has to be screwed on and off.....

I have dealt w ith both companies and have had no bad experiences with their CS..

Agree, plus I would rather buy new most times given the option.
