So, we introduced some coral frags to our aquarium about two weeks ago and one of them has developed a white foamy substance around it. Is this something to be concerned about, or is it normal?
Sponge most likely. In most cases these are generally harmless, but there are certain varieties that can smother corals to death. Just keep an eye on it.
