White Light or Blue?

What is best for posting zoa ID photos? I read somewhere that white light shots are better but to me they all look brown lol.

I would says blues ar ebetter at showing off their colors, since most vendors will take pictures under blues/actinics to show brighter color I would do the same at home to try an ID a variety. Most reputable online vendors will say what kind of light their pics are done under as well.

looks like some radioactive dragon eyes in the pic you posted, not sure on the others though.
 
I am a firm believer in taking ID photos under white lighting, at least leaning towards white rather than blue. I can ID quite a few Zoanthids under white lighting that look so drastically different under the super saturated blue lights. Some Zoanthids can still be easily identified under blue lighting while most to me don't even look like the same varieties. Very few of the 30+ varieties I have look the same or even comparable under my morning/night actinic lighting which seems like the lighting scheme most people seem to post for ID help.
 
Mael has the name correct they are radioactive dragon eyes. they are very common and their are a lot of different names for them but I believe Mael's got the correct name not me
