I bought a frag of purple digi the other day that was excellent, and now It seems to be dying at the base. As i looked right at it, I seen many small what look to be termites white in color crawling on the rock it is mounted on and down around the base of the frag.. Is this the problem or is it something else? incedentily, I have tons of these mites all on my glass and whipping around the tank. Any help would be great! thanks!

That monti frag could be STNing for many different reasons.
you should know:
calcium
alkalinity
magnesium
nitrate
phosphate
temp
salinity
Any problems with other SPS in the tank? Placing the coral in higher flow couldn't hurt.

Here is my water levels.

Nitrate 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Amonia 0ppm
phos 0ppm
Ph 8.4-8.6 seems pretty dark on the scale
Alk 450 Picture is greener in person
Calc 400

salinity 1.025 @82 which is way hot, my thermo must me out of adjustment.

This is after a 20 Gallon water change today..

Ok well pods definitely aren't killing your monti.
I would say continue with your water changes and superglue around the area to help stop the spreading.
You should try to get better testkits like the ones from Salifert. They are more accurate.

I use a CA reactor now but in the past I used to dose kalk and eventually "Kalk and vinegar" (Do a search for the mix). Works great!

The search isn't working do you know the instructions off hand or a link to the instructions?? Thanks in advance your really helping me out today!

i would suggest getting a salifert alk test, it is much more accurate, and alkalinity is one of the most imp. factors in a tank.
