White spots ID please

i found these spots first on the big rock and now they have spread. they dont seem to be hurting anything. they are very thin and occasionaly move in the current with one end holding to the rock. any one know what they are and if they are safe.

Snail eggs, I have a few 100 at all times and wish I would ovf never added those black looking cerths from florida.

I thought they were the start of coraline algae, there has been some debate on this in a thread a while back. Nobody really knew. Thanks for the tip. Hey budman how you been? Everything still growing down hear. Hanging in there I hope.

For sure eggs, I've seen them open up and float off before and I've seen the snails lay them at night. Never during the day for some reason. I just get so many that they distract from the look of the tank.
