White spotted hermit crab

Hi, I'm looking for some advice regarding my white spotted hermit crab.
He seems to have molted twice. The first time was three days ago. He then 2 days ago pushed his claws and legs out and my pink spotted gobbie seemingly snapped his legs off and his claws, and swam off with them!
We have removed the gobbie to another tank, as I'm concerned he will do more damage. Mr Crabs has now popped his head out and he doesn't have any claws or front legs! (Definitely not hiding them).
We've had Mr Crabs for 6 months and this is his first moult.
My question is how do I care for him? I'm presuming he will need special attention for feeding? And will his claws grow back? How long will it take? Could the gobbie have caused unrepairable damage? Please advise.

Thanks in advance

Lynds

the claws will grow back after a couple of molts. in the meantime, you'll probably need to target feed him.

White Spot hermit crabs are aggressive and will eat algae, meat scraps and detritus. I have one that is in a 4" long shell, as they get grow they will need bigger shells

when fully grown it will need a shell that is 8" long, and it is amazing how fast they are
