White string

First of all, merry Christmas to all of the members here.

Everyday I encounter new issues with my corals as I try to improve the quality of the tank. Today, I notice white strings from one of the sps and appreciate if someone can tell me what it is. It used to be bright green and it is starting to get pale. From other post, it is identified that I have a low nutrient tank as no3 is at 2ppm and po4 at 0 ppm. Is the white string related to low nutrient tank or am I having multiple issues?

Sorry for poor pic quality.

Kevin

The white stuff your seeing is the coral just being a little upset. Could be lighting if its getting more light then used to. But most of the time it means there is something downstream that it doesn't like. The feather you are seeing is just a barnacle..
