I noticed this white slime growth in my grow out tank. It is affecting about 15% of the population. I am thinking it is stress related due to declining water quality. I made a 30% water change, installed UV bulb and cleaned out their tank thoroughly. I think we have been overfeeding and it's leading to some water quality issues, but ammonia badge shows no ammonia. I am open to any other ideas. I will be watching to see what happens after actions above. Here is a picture. The white stuff can be seen easier on the reflection off the bottom glass. These fish have never been exposed to anything but broodstock water and RO/DI salt mix. Broodstock tank is completely healthy as far as I can tell.
