Just curious to know about Mike and Angela and what the story is behind the o-so-popular avatar pic.
Who are Mike & Angela and why are people supporting them?

Mike ( Satori ) has been very active in the reef community for quite a few years. Myself along with others here can attest to how good Mikes tank was and the awesome colonies of SPS he had. We tore Mikes tank down this past few months because Mike lives in Sierra Vista but has been staying in Tucson because his wife has been hospitalized. I'm quite sure when the time comes that Mike re-enters the reef scene we will all still be there for him. As for now, support Mike and Angela in the Lounge. Keep us updated Mike and all our thoughts and prayers are with you and Angela.

Angela was in remission for a little over two years after getting lots of chemo and a bone marrow transplant in 2005, but she relapsed in January. After lots more chemo and a "mini" transplant, she went back into remission last month and was able to go home for a while, but she relapsed again after just a few weeks and is now re-admitted in Tucson getting chemo and full body radiation, which will be followed on Saturday by another full bone marrow transplant. This is by far the most aggressive treatment she's ever had, and it's taking it's toll.

Mike - I can't possibly imagine what either of you are going through. You're a very lucky man to have such a strong woman and a great group of friends. Thanks for sharing your story and please let any of us here know if you or her need anything that we can supply or provide. May God bless you and your family.

Im new to the saltwater scene. Have read the numerous responses speaking highly of Mike. I wish good luck to you and your wife in this next step in overcoming cancer.
