Who has/had multibar angels, and what did they eat?

Hey Guys,

So I picked up a pair (well 2) small multibar angels a little over a month ago. I have a large fish collection including 11 other angels.

There were no aggression issues, and the multibars immediately settled into the tank and went about picking on the rocks.

Well now 5 weeks later, they are still picking from the rocks, but they aren't interested in any additional foods.

They look healthy, they are not thin, but they are not robust. I've tried lots of different foods, but both of them just watch the foods float by and keep picking along the rocks.

Haven't been able to get live brine yet. But they don't even glance at frozen brine in the tank.

Was wondering for those with experience with the Multibar what there favorite foods have been.

Thanks

Dave B

I had one in a 55 gal reef a few years back and it would eat pretty much anything. Especially frozen hikari mysis, enriched brine and larger PE mysis. These fish can be very reluctant to eat any captive foods (frozen or live) which is why they're classified as a 'Moderate or Difficult' species on most online retailers. Just try as many different foods as you can, and hopefully you will eventually find something it will eat. Good luck!
