Who makes tank in this region?

Title says the jist of it. I am wanting a 36"x18"x6" tank made. I'm not sure if I want to go glass or acrylic though. It will be used as a display tank for frag swaps only.

Any thoughts on which material would be better? Websites and/or phone numbers of any known tank manufacturer's would be appreciated. Thanks,

www.glasscages.com is the we address Fidel. I have a 180 from them now and it is a nice tank. they also made a custom acrylic sump for me. they can be a bit rough on the edges for customer service, and I have read some complaints, but they build a decent water holding box.

Yea, we have used Glass Cages before as well, and they were great. I have read some of the negative reviews, but we didn't have any problems with them at all. When I initially emailed them with a question they were quick to get back to me, and the entire transaction went extremely smooth.

+1 on the good and bad of Glass Cages. I would still not hesitate ordering from them. Just be sure to send exact drawings of what you want if it is not standard.

+1 on glass cages. they did my 240 tank and my 90 gallon sump. Great work and never had a problem.

Its not local, but Reef Savvy did mine and it turned out great. They are in Maimi but you might be able to combine with someone local for the shipping cost. Price isn't bad, it is the shipping that costs.

But in the end if you are going to use it as a display tank, especially rimless, you won't regret it. I'm in Clarksville if you want to see the tank quality.

Edit: Oops, I reread the first post. I though it was display OR frag swaps. It wouldn't be worth it for that purpose only. I do remember reading about a guy in KY that does acrylic work on the side. It was on that other forum for people with nano reef tanks.

I'll likely be picking up a Reef Savvy tank middle of this year if anyone else is interested in me picking up one for them for far less than the shipping cost would be.

Also, there is a guy on Ebay selling some really nice acrylic frag tanks, Advance Acrylics, macilwu is his username. He has a 36x24x12 listed for $425, but it's an all in one system with skimmer compartments and such in back, I bet if you eliminate that it would drop the price greatly.
