Who wanted my 200 gal tank?

I can't remember who first wanted to get my tank, need honest "first come first served". It's been a while since I offered it up. ( Tank and stand-cabinet). Cell # 753-0859. Search topics are busy so I can't find who I talked to last time.

Floridareefs congratulations. I will be home most of sat. (call my cell # when you get headed my direction). I hope you have a big truck bed/padding or a tow behind :eek2: I used my Tundra to bring it home from Alabama and had to stand the cabinet vertical to get them both in.

Unfortunately, Reef can't do the deal on the tank ( $200 tank and cabinet/stand). Marinedude is next and then it's open game or flea market.

Ok Now I'm really confused. In Flreefs thread you said that you were going to " give the tank to Kim @ Pet Creations". Did you change your mind & deceide to sell it?

yes he wants $200 for it. I thought he said it was free to pet creations. it did not have a canopy. If it was free, I would have done it. Nonetheless, I am sure marineduud can make it into a great tank. Best of luck

Let me clear the air so to speak. Kim was going to sell it for me and either give me "store credits or a % of sale $. Not that its anyones buzns but mine. I offer it here on a local club forum and suddenly everyones bummed/upset that a 200 gal w/cabinet is not being "given away" ? $ 200 is chicken scratch for a tank combo this big and anyone with reef fish exp should realize that.

Forget it people, Its off the sale board now.

Well, I'm glad you cleared the air so eloquently. IMO, had you stated that your were giving it to Kim to sell & that you were asking $200, there wouldn't have been any confusion. IMO, I'm not the only person that thought that it was "FREE". Yes, I agree $200 for a set up of that size is a good deal, depending on the condition of it & if it's a "reef Ready" tank. I'm not upset & IMO, I don't think anyone else is upset that "it's" not free. It's the fact that we were lead to believe that it was free & I qoute " Good day all, I've got a 200 gal w/stand that I was going to give to Pet Creations but them seem too busy to come pick it up. I will give Kim another week but if she declines, I will offer it up for the general public. It won't fit in my house with out major floor reinforcements (Or through the front door for that matter)" If you don't sell it , bring pics or email them to me & I'll try to sell it for you. I agree. I am definitly not upset Bob, Just simple misunderstanding. I am sure its a good deal. If it was Reaf Ready, I would have given more than $200, but it is just not what I want, and the money it will take to get it right, just takes me out of the loop. As John states, bring it to him, I am sure he can sell it for you.
