Who wants a tank??

Out of curiosity, if I purchased a Glasscages.com tank, would anybody else want one?? If I had a bunch of tanks, all sizes, would you be interested in buying one?? Let's just say that there may be another source for fish, corals and hardgoods, without having to travel very far. hint hint....

Hehe. James good idea. I just got back from Chicago after seeing some local reefers there. At one reefers home I saw a glass cages 280 gal display tank...apart from "some" bad experiences people had here on RC....what I saw made me think twice about buying from them....the center braces was not siliconed well and came loose. So he had to break down his whole tank...I am not trying to bash them but the quality of their work is not 100% all the time...but their prices are great and many reefers have got their dream tanks made from them....if you are going to open a small store to supply dry goods and coral I will support it as a hobbyist.

I've owned three of their tanks. Two 180g's and a 240g, not at the same time though. No problems with any of them. And that was even a few years ago. Unless you have owned one, I can't see how you can say their work is less than 100%.

If I get to working up your way again I would.. In fact I'd make it a point to stop by and get a coral or something. But honestly at 2 1/2 hours I'd drive to Bismarck instead and see my family and shop there.. Sorry.

Can't even support your local reef club fish store. Sheeesh!! There's always the mall in Grand Forks with all of their fine fish and corals.

No worries, I'm not opening or buying an LFS. The way it works is that glasscages.com sends their trucks out to deliver a tank. Since they would be up in my neck of the woods anyway, to deliver my tank, they could also deliver yours and his and theirs, at no extra cost. This is one time that splitting the shipping could really work for your benefit. Do you see what I am getting at here?? No matter.

Yeah.. But that message.. Wow, looking at a small business so you couldn't make todays meeting then you talk about tanks.. Man don't confuse an old norwegian like that.

As far as GlassCages go.. Well I have my 70 and that is really all I need. Although after seeing Matts AquaPod!!! I think I know what I want to use for a frag tank.
