Whos got a Radiant Wrasse

How can you differentiate the sexes.

On the upper portion of their side is a purple or red/pink strip. Purple means male, and the red/pink means it's female. In my last photo with both of them in it, you can see the difference.
 
I have had one for about a year...about a 6" one. One of the things that I have learned with mine is like many wrasses, they like to hide at night and many times through parts of the day. It is a greedy feeder but backs off from more aggressive fish. The two tangs that I have in my tank usually dominate it the first few minutes of feeding, then it comes out and gets its portion.

Interesting. I never knew that. So that means that craiglanda's pictures are of a female? If that is so... I guess mine is a female too :) Learn something new everyday.
