Who's using the Neptune Wavemakers?

Tell me about these. I just saw them while shopping around. First, they are all easily controlled through Apex. Do I understand that it needs the Link by Neptune in order to do that? Are they wireless? I was planning to go with the tunze 6905 for Powerhead a bit saw these pumps. And since I'm going with the apex I thought I'd get some feed back. Two tunze pumps with a controller is about $420 with the link cable to apex. Two wave pumps and the link module is about $500. One thing I really liked about the wav pumps is they are DC poweeed motor. I like quiet! And I like control. Who's running these?

I have two of them on my 120, dead quiet and they move a lot more water than my old MP-40's. The only drawback is that I wish they had a greater range of adjustability. You do need a Linc if you have the old classic Apex (like me). They are not wireless, they have a thin cord for power that is also the control.

I don't own an Apex yet so I'm not sure what you mean by "old" apex. I will have a 90 gallon display so these will be plenty. I really like the control aspect of it all. That's what really got my attention. They also look smaller than the tunze pumps. Are they?

I have 2 on a 5foot by 30" tank. They are rocking the sps and quiet. It took them a few weeks to break in. They are easily controlled by the apex, quiet, come with the link, and you can add another to the link for 200 bucks. I like everything on one controller rather than several. The Tunze are also super quiet and good pumps. I've had the Neptune wav pumps for about a year and still like them.

The old Apex is now call the Classic and does require an add on Linc module, the new Apex does not need the add on Linc.

Guys, finally realized you have to have the wav submerged or it won't operate. Now, why can't I get the Flo module to appear on my dashboard? If I'm understanding the instructions, it should appear in the top box when I unlock the dashboard and I should then be able to drag it onto my dashboard so I can access the wave pump control easily. Am I missing something?

Not specific to the flow icon, the icons in the...spare bin continue off to the right. Keep scrolling through there and I think it will be there as long as you've hooked up the WAVs.
