i recently bought what i thought to be a pretty nice leather, its aout 5 inches long. it looked like three or four frags on one rock. only one of them was open when i bought it (i know, red flag) i put it in my tank yesterday and now today its turning a redish black color and since this pic was taken it now seems to have some white(transparent) fuzz all over it. here is a pic that kind of shows whats going on with it. i assume its dying but can it be reversed or did i just buy a dead leather. it showed no visible signs when i bought it. is there any way to cut a small piece or would it just spread to the frag? i've had several leathers, many differant kinds but never seen this before.
