why won't my mushroom open?

So I have had this for about 5 weeks now and this is the most it will open. I moved it underneath the power head so it is not in direct flow and not much help. Levels seem ok but nothing doing. Any suggestions?

Those are not shrooms but paly's. Try moving them to a medium flow area.
