Will 2 frags of the same coral fuse together?

Eventually yes. I actually have a few pieces that were formed this way from a few slivers glued to a frag plug. 2 things a frag is looking for to really start growing is sense of self and stability.

yes, when I don't feel like managing an accidental frag I just throw it in the middle of the colony and let it fuse together.
