Will a Maroon Hold its Own

I've been wanting to get a Maroon Clown for quite some time but can't seem to find one with any real size. The largest I have found is maybe 2-3". The problem comes in that I have a Pic Trig, Porc Puff, and a Blenny. I don't want to add the clown if its just gonna become a snack. The Trig and Puff are both 4"+. I added the blenny to the mix about a month ago and it seemed to hold its own(trig took one nip at it and blenny went right back at him and that was the end of it). Just seeing if a clown can also hold its own in the tank. I'm hoping for it to host my GBTA. Any advice would be appriciated.

Posted this in Anemone and Clownfish Form with not responce so I figured I'd ask you guys.

i think it will be fine, would rearrange the rocks first. my past maroons were pretty aggressive and could hold its own, similar to my marine betta.

should be good if its big enough..Buddy of mine had a very large female maroon, probably about 4". She held her own very well with the Undulated trig. that was in the tank, no problems at all other then she was a real pain in the butt with always moving things around wouldn't leave stuff alone.

Maroon's are on the tough side. While nothing can be for sure it should be ok if you can protect it at entry. Once its seen as another fish and not food it should hold its own.

A 2/3" maroon clown should be able to hold its own with that list. I have a 4" in my 600g and she is one nasty fish.

I dont mean to hijack, but do nems do ok with triggers and puffers?

I've never had a problem with the fish and the nem.

Also went to the store to pick up a maroon and the nice one he had ended up getting its a$$ wooped bye a couple of damsels it was with before the LFS had to QT it so it wouldn't die. Ended up getting Either a tomato or a cinnamon clown that is the same size as the trigger, and he's good thus far.
