Will a Velvet Nudibranch eat AFEW?

I know they eat red flatworms, but what about acro eating flatworms? I've got some that I can't get rid of. I've gotten the population down, but I want them gone.
Thanks!

Supposedly yes:

But Nudi's can be tough to find and tough to keep. Even if you do get one I would consider a two pronged approach (manual removal, another predator or possibly some of the dip treatments):

I've gotten their population down by siphoning and by dipping, and I just found more the other day. I have wrasses that I don't think are eating them so I think I'm gonna try the velvet to see what it will do. These stupid AEFW have killed at least 4 sps colonies so far :mad2:

I would continue with the siphoning and dipping. I had AFEW a few years ago and that was all I did and eventually I broke their breeding cycle and was free of them. Just takes time.

The nudi is guaranteed to die. The most ethical thing people have come up with is to circulate them in problem tanks. But this requires you knowing people that have problems; otherwise you are just buying an animal and sentencing it to death.

you're sentencing the flatworms to death as well... Ethics are bull honkey. If you worry about ethics you should let pests do what they do. Most critters are just organic tools. If the nudi works, use it. If you have a problem with that, plants are life too. Corals are between plants and critters. I hope you don't starve to death.

The slug (not a nudibranch) won't eat AEFW. They are specialists on Convolutriloba and don't recognize even closely related flatworms as food. Despite the similar body shape and common name, AEFW are no more closely related to Convolutriloba than you are to a starfish.
