Will Hogfish eat Candy Striped Snapping Shrimp

Hello,

I'm about to release a Dracula goby and its alpheus randalli into a BB QT with a Bodianus sepiacaudus. The snapping shrimp is about 3/4" and the Peppermint Candy Cane Hogfish is around 3". I have two 7" pieces of sterilized 1/2" pvc for them to hide in.
Is this going to be an "I knew better" moment?

To clarify, the PCC Hogfish is awaiting its new owner while his QT matures. The PCC was supposed to be 2 1/4" and I assumed the CSS shrimp was going to be 1.5". I didn't take the time to check on the size of the shrimp as I'd been waiting months for a vivid Dracula.

I rearranged the pvc fittings in the QT hoping to throw off the hogfish. Within seconds the hog bit the ocellaris and Dracula. The Randalli wasn't in the QT yet so the hog went into a large salad spinner strainer. The Dracula and Randalli were paired DD but shipped individually. Within five minutes they paired up again.
Maybe tomorrow or the next day I'll let the hog out and see if the Dracula protects the shrimp... or maybe not, I'll feel horrible and stupid if the shrimp dies because I can't admit the Hog is a poor choice for the rest of my stock list.

Research does mention "may eat inverts" as they mature. Research is a good thing before purchasing.
