Will my achilles ever accept these?

I got a pair of Heniochus diphreutes (schooling bannerfish, supposed to be safe). I had to put them in a box in my aquarium since my achilles had a fit with them! He's normally pretty mellow, but these no dice (maybe one owed him money when they were out on the reef?). I had to move them from the tank to the box in the tank thinking that if he sees them without being able to get to them he'd chill after a while (my purple tang was taking the achilles lead, but now ignores them in the box). I've had them in the box several days and still the achilles acts agressively at times when passing the box, though less often and not as bad as before. What's worse the bannerfish being in the box and wanting out, are acting out when the achilles passes the box now. Will it be safe to let them out soon, or will my achilles not get used to them and I need to get rid of the bannerfish? My daughter likes them and they do add something to the tank.

Well, I let the 2 bannerfish out of the temp holding tank into the main tank last night (but left the holding tank in the main tank). My achilles will go over and flash at them, but not as aggressively and quickly goes about his other business after doing so. From looking at the profiles of these 2 fish it looks like they come from the same area? This makes me wonder if they are rivals (food, locations, etc.) in the wild that makes my achilles so PO'ed at them?
